For the fault of the grounding phenomenon of the elevator hall door lock, many new maintenance personnel who have just entered the industry find it difficult to check it. In fact, it is very simple after sorting it out. The steps are as follows:

Turn the elevator to emergency electric operation in the machine room

Power off and lock the power supply

Disconnect the two connecting wires of the door lock circuit terminal on the control cabinet

Jumper the door lock line

Switch on and power on

Elevator emergency electric running to the second top floor

Car roof maintenance to move the elevator to the upper floor

Use a multimeter to measure the resistance. The red needle is connected to the connection point of the circuit of the door lock contact, and the black needle touches the metal surface of the hall door or guide rail.

If the resistance value is small or connected to the ground, it means that the fault point is in the upper half of the hoistway

If the resistance value is not found to be small, it means that the fault point is in the lower half of the hoistway

Car top inspection run to the lower half of the hoistway for measurement and confirmation

If confirmed in the second half

Then use insulating tape to stick the contact point of the door lock contact on the middle layer of the lower half, and use the same troubleshooting method to measure and judge until the fault point is found, and the fault is restored

Remove the insulating tape stuck to all these floor door lock contact connection points

Restore the wiring of the door lock circuit on the control cabinet
