Interlift 2023: More than 500 Exhibitors from 38 Nations Present Their Innovations at the World's Most Important Trade Fair for the Industry Platform of International Industry Associations and Media

Augsburg - With more than 500 exhibitors from 38 countries, the interlift 2023 is once again the most important event in the lift industry. And it has never been more international: 73 percent of the exhibitors are not based in Germany! The strongest nation after Germany is once again Italy: 23% of the foreign exhibitors come from there. It is followed by Turkey with 18%, China with 15%, Spain with 9% and with 4% India moves up to 5th place - not least thanks to its first major joint presentation. The interlift 2023 offers the best overview of what the world market has to offer. This makes it the most important trade fair of the year, not only for the top decision-makers in the companies, but also for everyone involved in lift construction.

For interllift 2023, numerous exhibitors have informed us in advance about new products, innovations, product improvements and new services:

Complete Systems
Safety, comfort, reliability / availability are key requirements for the operation of lift systems and are highlighted by exhibitors as features alongside energy efficiency and accessibility. In addition to new load-bearing equipment, IoT capability and preventive maintenance for components or even entire systems, special Safety Components are also to be special safety components, all of which strive to meet the requirements of the latest rules.

The case of patents in the field of special load-bearing devices brings a multitude of suppliers of such systems onto the scene. Also "new", alternative load-bearing means are ready for assessment - here belts based on synthetic fibres instead of wire ropes can be mentioned in addition to push chain drives.

Components
Space-saving, compactly designed cabins that can be installed from the inside with little effort have an effect on the component side in addition to cloud-monitored doors/drives on modernisation/ installation but also on maintenance and servicing. In the area of frequency control, it's all about communication and connectivity, special safety and comfort features, and universality: for example, one manufacturer uses a frequency inverter of its own development, identical in construction, for traction sheaves and hydraulic drives. The variety of integrated control/inverter solutions is increasing, including suppliers of destination selector controls.

Services
More and more suppliers are offering design and configuration support. In addition, there are updated programmes for verification or in the ERP area. Here there are extensions - among other things with regard to IoT, preventive maintenance - or also general handling such as invoicing.
