Installation steps

(1) When the load-bearing beam is under the floor of the machine room, it is generally necessary to make a reinforced concrete base that is about 30 mm larger than the chassis of the Traction Machine and has a thickness of 250-300 mm. The bolts of the fixed traction machine are pre-buried on the base. Under the concrete base, the top of the load-bearing beam should be placed with a damping rubber pad, and the traction machine should be fixed on the concrete base.

The concrete base and the traction machine are fixed together by a pressure plate and a baffle.

(2) When the load-bearing beam is above the floor of the machine room, the steel base of the traction machine chassis can be connected with the load-bearing beam bolts. If vibration reduction is required, the vibration-damping device should be made. The specific method is to make two steel plates of the same size as the base of the traction machine and having a thickness of about 20 mm, and a damping rubber pad is placed between them. The upper steel plate is bolted to the traction machine, and the lower steel plate is welded to the load beam. In order to prevent displacement, the upper plate and the traction machine chassis also need to be provided with a pressing plate and a baffle plate, as shown in Figure 1-43.

(3) When the load-bearing beam is installed on the reinforced concrete platform of the machine room floor 600mm above the machine room, the baffle plate and the vibration-damping rubber pad should be placed on the table, and the upper and lower connecting steel plates should be installed. The traction machine is fixed on the steel plate and positioned by the pressure plate and the baffle.

(4) Correction of the traction wheel mounting position. Fix a horizontal lead wire above the traction machine, hang two vertical lines from the horizontal wire to the center point of the car frame and the center of the counterweight on the floor board, and then calculate the traction according to the center of the traction rope. The diameter of the wheel is rounded, and then another vertical line is hung on the horizontal wire. Finally, the traction machine is calibrated through these standard lines.

Technical requirements for installation

(1) Traction wheel position deviation: the front and rear (toward the counterweight) direction should not exceed ± 2mm, and the left and right direction should not exceed ± 1mm. (2) The traction wheel lead traverse error is not more than 2.0mm.

(3) The parallelism error between the traction sheave and the guide wheel or rewinding wheel is not more than ±1mm.
